Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the Biggest Video Game

Here, we have already taken a review of Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 3 in our previous posts. Now, I have realized that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the fourth game of the series of Call of Duty. The game has been considered as the biggest video game of the world. It was developed by Infinity Ward. The game was published by Activision. In North America, the game was released on 6 November, 2007 and latter it was released in Australia and Europe on 7 November, 2007.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare first part was published for Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, Windows and Xbox 360 gaming console. It was the biggest project for game developer. It took about 2 years in completing the project.

I recently played the game and enjoyed much. It is really a fantastic game. It is same from its previous parts. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is also set on World War – II. There are several objectives for each mission in the game. There are many locations in the game which takes place such as Azerbaijan, Russia and Prypiat, Ukraine etc. Many characters in the game are non-playable but they been also significantly featured.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare got very positive response. Whenever you will play the game, you will feel – true world-dynamic lighting, dynamic shadows, depth of field, and HDR lighting effects. It has advanced graphical effects and artificial intelligence also in the game. You can use many weapons like – M4A1 carbine, AN/PEQ-2 target pointer, M203 grenade launcher, MP5Sdsubmachine gun, FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank guided missiles etc. Players have also got some features in the game such as call airstrikes, night vision goggles etc. It has awesome soundtrack. In multiplayer game there are features to carry on additional weapons, attachments etc.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare received many awards such as best game of the year, best XBox 360 game of the year, best graphics awards etc. You can imagine that till now the game copy has been sold over 10 million units. It was the top selling game also for the year of 2007.

It is my one of the favorite games and I will never give a negative mark to the game. I will always appreciate the game due to awesome graphics, play, sound and locations.

GTA – Vice City is the fourth Game of the famous Series – Grand Theft Auto

GTA – Vice City is known as the fourth game in the series of the famous game Grand Theft Auto. It was developed by Rockstar Games. Formerly it was known as DMA design. You can say it is the fourth sequel of the original GTA 1 which was launched in October 27, 2002. You can assume that GTA –Vice City was the best selling game of 2002. Till 2006, in the USA it became the best selling game for PlayStation 2.

GTA Vice city is popularly known as Grand Theft Auto -Vice City which was developed by Rockstar North for PlayStation 2 and Windows. Now, Rockstar Vienna developed the game for Xbox also. You can say that it was not a sequel of GTA 3 but it was an extension of the game.

Grand Theft Auto – Vice City is a sandbox style game. In the game player has to play on different missions to get succeed in it. “Tommy Vercetti” is known as main character of the GTA Vice City which is a criminal. “Tommy Vercetti has been released by prison after 15 years of imprisonment. Now, he is released and joins his former mafia group. The mafia group sends him to Vice City for a cocaine deal. During this deal he was attacked by some rivals. In the attack his bodyguards and dealer are killed. He losses the deal money and cocaine also. Now, he planed to retrieve the cocaine and kill to everyone who is responsible for that. For this mission he makes his own gang. Now, the gang is more powerful and rich than it’s previous.

Grand Theft Auto– Vice City is an amazing game with different mission to proceed in it. All these things make it an excellent game which has completely different challenges and different skills. GTA Vice City is better technically and strong than its prequels. In this game you can get new weapons and new vehicles which make this game a good experience to play. The story of GTA Vice City is more entertaining and complex than GTA 3. There are different soundtrack channels that play on the road while players drive. Now, There are fifth part of GTA also as GTA San Andreas.

GTA San Andreas Computer Playing Game

San Andreas is the fifth game of GTA series which was developed and published by Rockstar games. At first, it had been released for PlayStation and later for Xbox. Now, the game is available for PC also. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas hit on all the platform of games. On the launching time, the game faced many problems due to the explicit sex mini game but later moved it to adult category games.

GTA – San Andreas was third 3D game in the series of GTA. In the game, players are able to play game in their own way due to non-linear environment.

GTA – San Andreas game is an action genre game like a movie. In the game Carl “CJ” Thomson returns to Los Santos from Liberty city after hearing the news of his mother’s murder. The game proceeds with “CJ” try to find out the murderers of his mother. In the game, there are three cities which are – Santos (real Los Angeles), San Fierro (real San Francisco), and Las Venturas (real Las Vegas).

GTA – Vice City was its previous version which was also a most popular thrilling and exiting game. In its new version of GTA – San Andreas, there are many new features which were not in its previous.

San Andreas in its real sense is a gang wars, car customization, and character personalization with new weapons. It is an unforgettable version because here main character of the game is able to swim and climb on walls which were not possible in its previous versions.

Dialogues and casting of the game has been broadcasted very positively in the right direction. Most probably, the game can be known as the best game of the GTA series forever.

Soundtrack and frame rate of the game are not stable which can be better. Some places the game is much boring when “CJ” goes from one city to another.

GTA: San Andreas declared that it has sold about 12 millions units of PlayStation 2 version till March 5, 2005 which was a record for best selling. NPD group announced that San Andreas is the best selling video game in USA on 25th September, 2007. The game awarded by many award like – “PlayStation 2 Game of The Year Award”, “Best PlayStation 2 Action Game”, “Best Story of PlayStation” etc.

So, we can surly say that GTA – San Andreas PC game version or other gaming consoles versions are most popular in the gaming world.

Call of Duty 3 – Gives the Thrill and Excitement of Players

Call of Duty 3 is another fantastic video game in the world famous series of Call of Duty. It was developed by Treyarch and Pi Studio. It was published by Activision. Call of Duty 3 was released on XBox 360, Playstation and Wii also. It was known as most successful video games of 2006-2007 years. The game was released on November 7, 2006 at first in North America.

Call of Duty 3 was developed by Treyarch which is the subsidiary of Activision group in the partnership of Pi Studio. The game was published by Activision with seventh generation video game with Xbox 360, PlayStation and Wii. The game previous version was not released for PC.

Call of Duty 3 is adventure genre game during Word War II. In the Call of Duty 3 there is only one combined campaign and player switched in four nations with different characters. However, in another parts of Call of Duty the features was not available.

In the first stage of the game player takes a role of “Private Nicholas” who gets involved in missions to capture of Saint-Lô, defending Chambois and others. It was in the American campaign. After it in British campaign Sergeant James Doyle takes place. In the third round of the game there is Canadian campaign to play as Private Cole. In the last campaign there is Polish who have to take the role of Cpl.

Call of Duty 3 gives the thrill and excitement of its players with its amazing war and mission. It has great sound effects also. The Call of Duty 3 visuals and graphics have much worth to play. The game Call of Duty 3 has been surely improved than its previous version Call of Duty 2.

The previous version was not much strong but Call of Duty 3 user reviews shows that it was much interesting and than its previous. The last part of Call of Duty is its fifth part which is known as World at War.

Expert Stage Review of Virtua Cop 2 Computer Game

Again after review of medium stage of Virtua Cop 2 I am going to share something about expert stage of the game. The computer game has inspired me to write its review because I always play it. Virtua Cop 2 is my favorite arcade game. I have not played ever its on gaming consoles play satiation however I play it’s on my computer every day. In the expert stage there are some differences from medium and beginners stage.

Expert stage of Virtua cop 2 starts from train fighting. In the starting of the game you will get 5 credits like its previous but fighting in the stage is very close. You have to fight very carefully because at a time you will face 4-5 enemies in the stage. If you mistake, you will loose your credits.

After the 1st scene completed you have to choose a lane – one is Arcade line and another is Saturn way. In the Arcade line you will enter in running train again to fight with your enemies however in Saturn way you will fight in open at car and helicopter. So, it can be your choice whatever you want to choose. In the scene you will get machine gun also.

In the second scene of the game you will enter a close industrial room to fight with your enemies. In the scene always you will get 5-6 enemies at once with quick firing so, be fast here. In the scene of expert stage of Vcop 2 you will get shot gun which is new for you. To get the gun click your mouse on that. Shot gun is easy to handle but if anyone shoot you then you will loose your shot gun. So, to maintain the gun you have to fight very quickly.

Here, also in the expert stage of Virtua Cop 2 you have to fight with a boss in the end of the computer game. In the stage boss is very strong because he has tanker to fight with you. You have to move very quickly to escape with his shot.

In the review of the expert stage of Vcop 2 I have written all the scene and infrastructure of the game. If you are talented then you will cover your safety during playing the game. It is much enjoyable game so; you would surely know about the game before playing it.

Medium Stage Review of Virtua Cop 2 Playing Game

In my previous post I have already review the beginner stage of Virtua cop 2 game. I have already announced that there are three stages in the game. The game introductions have been also written by me in my previous post. So, I am going to review its medium stage of Vcop 2 game.

The medium stage of the arcade game begins from outside of a house and end at another outside of the house. Main fight is in the house. In this stage you will get light gun and machine gun to shoot your enemies.

The medium plot of the computer game has been also created very carefully. In each stage of the game you will get your report of “score”, “gangsters”, “civilians”, “shots”, “hits” and “accuracy”. So, make sure during the shooting that you have not to kill civilians and targets only gangsters by only on bullet. If you do like so then your accuracy and score will increase.

If you shoot civilian then you will loose a credit. In this plot you will get 2 scenes. After crossing 2nd scenes in the last you have to fight with your boss. In this stage boss are very active because they are not one. They will fire on you together. So, you have to shoot their all fire very sincerely along with reload your bullet. If you miss, you will loose score and will be killed. So, for the stage you should save your credit from beginning.

Lastly, the middle stage of Virtua cop 2 is very interesting than beginner. You will enjoy very much in the end of the stage when you will fight with boss. So, from my point of view it is hard from all stage and interesting also.

To handle very effectively machine gun you should care that no one shoots you. If done so then automatically you will loose machine gun and again will get light gun.

Virtua Cop 2 Arcade Game Review for Computer Playing

Virtua Cop 2 was developed by Sega-AM2 and published by Sega. The arcade game is most popular in the world. It was released in 1995 in AM2 studio. In 1996 it was ported to home system Sega Saturn. For the PC it was released in 1997 and Sega Dreamcast came in light in 2000. Lastly, after a great success of the arcade game has been released for PlayStation 2 gaming consoles in 2002.

The game genre is known as Rail Shooter. It has single players but you can choose multiple players also. There is light gun and machine gun to use for your safety. You have to shoot very sincerely your enemies which are lot of by targeting your gun point in the shooting circle else you will be killed by them.

To play the arcade game Virtua Cop 2 you should have to command on mouse if you want to play with that or you can play it through your keyboard also.

There are three plots in the Virtua cop 2 games. 1st is for beginner, 2nd is for medium and third is for expert. If you going to start a game on Vertua cop 2, you have to choose a game which you want to play otherwise it will be started beginner game by default after 10 second.

The game is also known as Vcop 2. In the game you will get 5 credits which contain 5 points. In the game very sincerely you have to target your enemy to shoot them. You need to concentrate your position to bit your enemy.

Credit points can by lost if you shoot any civilian. So, very positively you have to concentrate only on the robber’s not on civilian or on stuff. Civilian will aware you with the word of “don’t shoot”, so marry happy”, “help me” or “don’t shoot please”. So, you have to think over civilian in the game.

In the 1st plot of the game which is for beginner you have to fight with those criminals who are on road, in bike and in truck. In the last of the 1st plot you have to fight with “boss”. Boss will not be killed by bullet. So, you have to kill that to escape with his attack. You have to destroy his all the killing instruments.

After the completing of 1st plot the arcade game you can proceed for middle with that point which is in your credit still. If you loose all the credit points in mid of second plot then the game will over that time.

Score of the game will decide with all the aspect. If you have killed civilian then your score will be down also.

In the 1st plot you will get 3 scenes. In the 1st scene you have to fight with some criminals who are in jewelry shop. In the second scene you have to fight with those criminals who are on the bike and trucks. In the second scene you have to escape with those criminal who have bomb also. In the 3rd scene you will get machine gun also for a time period. In the last you will be face to face with boss who will say to you “where are you looking boss is here”.

The entire scene is very interesting and you will get instruction also in the game. If you forget to reload your then you will get the sound to “reload”. Sound is also very melodious of the game.

Lastly, I can say the arcade game for computer playing is very interesting and much liking. It will cover your whole screen of computer during the playing.

Call of Duty: World at War – Game Review

Introduction:

Call of Duty: World at War, the fifth and the latest part in the series of Call of Duty was released on November 11,2008 in North America, November 12, 2008 in Australia, and on November 14, 2008 in Europe. This part is developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. N-Space and Rebellion incorporated in the development of Nintendo and Play Station 2 versions of game respectively.

Development:

Call of Duty: World at War took almost 2 years in development. This part is powered by enhanced version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine which helps to introduced many enhanced graphics in the game. Different versions of games for Nintendo DS and Play Station 2 were also developed. Play Station 2 version is called “Call of Duty: World at War – Final Fronts” and this is very much different from its main version.

Plot:

The story of game revolves round the final battles of world war – II in Pacific and Eastern Europe that includes United States, Japan, Soviet Union, and Germany. This game has two campaigns in all. In first campaign players takes the role of Private Miller of US Marine Corps fighting with Japanese army. Second campaign is more interesting in which player acts as Private Dimitri Petrenko of Soviet Army fighting in Berlin. In this campaign he takes revenge from the German Army. There is a special co-op mode “Night of the Undead” that can be unlocked only after player completes single player campaigns. In this mode, 4 players can play simultaneously and they have to defend themselves from Nazi Soldiers. During this, players also earn points that can be used to buy new advanced weapons.

Thumbs Up:

Call of Duty: World at War is an excellent game in the world war settings with some advanced gameplay than its former parts Call of Duty 1, 2 and 3. Call of Duty 4 can be excluded in t his comparison as it was set in the modern time settings. The story of game is excellent with many turns. Some new weapons have been introduced in this part such as flamethrowers and bayonets. Multiplayer game option is also available in which two players can play via split screen and four players can play online. Vehicles are usable in multiplayer games also. Player in the game has enhanced ability to swim. Nazi Zombies are an added attraction in the game. There are total six multiplayer modes available. Soundtrack of the game is also worth mentioning like its previous parts.

Thumbs Down:

Although Call of Duty: World at War is a great game with advanced graphics and good story, but those familiar setting and familiar weapons may be boring for some game lovers. Some critics believe that plot of campaign in Pacific locations hurts the continuity of game’s story.

Response:

Call of Duty: World at War received general positive review from game critics. Multiplayer mode is highly praised throughout the world. Almost all game magazines and websites praised it for its consistency and well designed graphics.

Call of Duty 2- Game Review

Introduction:

Call of Duty 2 is another famous first-person shooter video game based on World War-II. It was a sequel to highly critically acclaimed game Call of Duty 1. This game was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Primarily it was developed for PC but later on its XBox 360 and mobile phone versions were also launched. Call of Duty 2 was highest grossing game of year 2005.

Development:

Call of Duty 2 was developed by Infinity Ward, which also developed its first part. Famous video game company “Activision” published it. Initially only PC version was launched, but later on its huge success prompted publishers to release it mobile and XBox versions.

Plot:

Call of Duty 2 was very much similar to its first part in gameplay and story plot. It was based on incidents of World War-II. Player gets the opportunity to play as soldier of different armies. The game is divided in four parts: one as soldier of Red Army, one as soldier of America and two parts as soldier of British Army. So basically story is divided in four campaigns and three stories. First one is “Eastern Front” in which player takes the role of Private Vasili Ivanovich Koslov of Red Army, second campaign is “North African Campaign” and player takes the role of Sergeant John Davis of British Army, third and fourth campaigns are “Battle of Normandy” and “Crossing the Rhine” respectively and players plays as Corporal Bill Taylor of USA Army.

Thumbs Up:

Call of Duty 2 was an excellent blend of marvelous graphics, animations and a strong story. Different campaigns in the story maintain the interest of players. The most powerful feature of the game is its multiplayer facility. Maximum 64 players can play on a PC server multiplayer mode, while on XBox 360, 8 players can play simultaneously. There are several gametypes available such as Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Search & Destroy etc. Call of Duty 2 features many weapons of the time of World War – II. Smoke grenades are added attractions in the game. In addition to this players can also use flank cannons and stationary machine guns, which adds to the excitement of game. Background music of Call of Duty 2 is also worth noticing and is a great plus point of game.

Thumbs Down:

Call of Duty 2 is a great game with many interesting features, but there are some negative points also. Aiming while running is not possible. New health system is also not good as health bar is absent from the game. Although this new system was added to give a new feel to the players but most of the game lovers didn’t liked it.

Response:

Call of Duty 2 got great reception by game lovers and critics. XBox version was also got huge success with over 250,000 copies sold within one week of its release. By October 2006, 1.4 million copies had been sold. Excellent graphics, amazing sound effects and awesome presentation were praised heavily throughout the world.

HALO: 3 Game Reviews

Introduction:

Halo 3, yet another exciting title of famous Halo series was released on September 25,2007 in North America, Brazil, Australia, India, New Zealand, and Singapore. Halo 3 was also a huge hit with over 4.2 million copies preordered before its official release. After its release it broke all records set up by its both prequels Halo 1 and Halo2. Halo 3 grossed $300 million within one week of its release, thus making it one of the most successful games ever. According to a study Halo 3 is the seventh highest rated game of Xbox 360till date.

Development:

Developed by Bungie Software and published by Microsoft, this game has been made exclusively for Xbox just as its previous versions. While both of its prequels were later designed for windows, Halo 3 is not available for Personal Computers till now. May be it will be released for PC version in near future.

Plot:

Story of Halo 3 starts just after the end of Halo 2 when Master Chief returns to earth to finish the fight against “Covenant”. The earth has been occupied by this alien race and this has uncovered a strange object in Africa whose secrets are still unrevealed. Player takes the role of “Master Chief” the main character of game.

Thumbs Up:

Halo 3 is certainly a great game with interesting storyline, which holds the player during gameplay. Halo 3 provides features unavailable in previous versions. Various new vehicles, weapons and gameplay are introduced which are very interesting. Four-player co-op mode is also available in online mode, which is really great. In addition to this Halo 3 have options available for saved gameplay and forge map editor to modify the levels. Various new multiplayer options are also a bonus for gamelovers. In addition to this the graphics and soundtrack and soundtrack are also excellent.

Thumbs Down:

Although the whole game is indispensable but there are some small faults. One thing is that although the option of rewinding of save gameplays is available, yet it does not work the way player expects. Online mode is very slow due to large number of players. Al-controlled marines in t he game may disappoint you while you are expecting some help from them. These flaws are small but are completely dominated by the positive points of Halo 3.

Responses:

Just like its both prequels Halo 1 and Halo 2, Halo 3 also got amazing response from game lovers all over the world. This game was launched on September 25,2007 and till January 3, 2008, 8.1 million copies has been reported be sold throughout the world. In USA its first day grossing were $170 million thus beating Halo 2, which grossed $125 million in first 24 hours. Highly exciting storyline, awesome graphics and great soundtrack made Halo 3 an experience of lifetime. Halo 3 got great appreciation from critics as well game lovers. Halo 3 won award of “Best Multiplayer Game” by Spike TV. Time magazine crowned it as “Game of the Year” award IGN selected it for “Best Xbox 360 Online Multiplayer Game”.
