Final Fantasy XIII Available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

Recently, the most popular game – Final Fantasy XIII launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gaming consoles. According to the news.punchjump.com, “Amazon this week is offering a free Final Fantasy XIII Faceplate with the purchase of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII Bundle.”

Further the online news portal says about $13 offers also, “Retailer Toys R Us. on Tues. is offering a $13 gift card with the purchase of Square Enix Holdings Co.’s Final Fantasy XIII.”

In the review of Final Fantasy XIII, http://www.guardian.co.uk writes, “Every single fight, of which there are many, is scored with up to five stars. The critical factor is the speed with which foes are annihilated. This, together with the super-slick Active Battle System, controlled in real time by the rather elegant new Paradigm controls, hurls our heroes ever onward with unexpected pace. Which is not to say that this is a quick game. There are days, not hours, of gameplay here.

It is refreshing in this era of “interactive movies” such as Heavy Rain that a game can be so grandly and unapologetically linear as Final Fantasy XIII. You fight a bit; you watch a bit. Although clearly evolved, this is essentially the same spectacular hackathon it has always been, and with so many fans of the format, more power to it. Now, if only they could all just get along…”

In a series of questions-answers, Game Hunters asks Motomu Toriyama about Final Fantasy XIII, “What do you feel is missing in today’s video games and how will Final Fantasy XIII address this?”

In the answer, Motomu Toriyama says, “I think Japanese developers are good at creating cut-scenes, well-rounded characters and a good story — especially in RPGs — so we’re trying to do that a lot. But we’re really trying to add more detail behind each of the characters, more emotion, such as different kinds of love portrayed in the game — between families, best friends, lovers, and so on. Just a lot more subtle details here in this game that we really haven’t seen before in other games.”

The questions-answers series was published in Game Hunters category of content.usatoday.com.

In the recent time, Final Fantasy XIII is the most popular game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I have also a desire to play the game on my Xbox 360 gaming console.
